Franklin Chamberlin Jr., age 94, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020. He
was born on May 8, 1926 in Plainwell, MI the son of Murray F. and Eleanor
(Ludwig) Chamberlin Sr.
Murray is survived by his children: Scott Chamberlin and Jill (Tim) Steiner;
grandchildren: Candace Chamberlin, Aaron (Cynthia) Steiner, Hannah Patton,
Allisa Chamberlin, Jackson (Michelle) Kyle, and Onna Kyle; brother: Robert
(Jo) Chamberlin; and son in law: Doug Kyle. Murray was preceded in his death
by his parents and daughter: Cathy Kyle. Murray was lovingly known as the
best boat mechanic in Plainwell. He was an avid hunter and loved owning
english setter bird dogs. He also loved downhill skiing and was a top Senior
Men's Slalom Racer in Michigan. Murray proudly served his country in the
United States Navy during World War II.
