Pine Lake Association

The PLA Needs YOU!

The Pine Lake Association consists of volunteers. Everyone benefits from the personal time the volunteers give to our community and we thank those who donate their time and energy to make this a great place to live and play. The Independence Day fireworks and festivities, the Picnic, the Garage Sale, the buoy maintenance, and plenty of other activities only exist because we have such wonderful volunteers.

Newsletter Editor

The position of newsletter editor is an important one. Outside of our website, the newsletter is our main source of communicating to our lake residents. In years past, this position has been filled by both board and non-board members. This position has been filled.

Point Directors

Point Directors are representatives for a specific area or street. They are intended to be a point of contact between the PLA and the residents of that area. Currently, there are many un-represented areas. If you enjoy talking to your neighbors and are willing to represent them at meetings, we need you.

Current List of Committees and Volunteers

At the PLA Board planning meeting held September 14, 2004, the Board accepted the suggestion that we create committees to work on various issues that are of interest to the community. We have already enlisted some dedicated volunteers, and we can always use more help! As the saying goes, "many hands make light work." It is our sincere hope that if we divide the amount of work among the members of a committee, there will be less for any one individual to do. If you would like to participate on a committee, or help in some other capacity, please contact any board member.
